Yeh, yeh. I know it's been over a month since I've done anything around here, but I've been really busy lately. Summer break will free up some more of my time, so I'll be updating more often... hopefully.
The turntables have come in, but I'm still having troubles with the company that I ordered from about the mixer--they tried to give ol' Clint the shaft. I don't recommend ordering from Upstairs Records unless you like sales reps to lie and try to stiff you on everything they send you.
That ordeal has kept me held up and busy for a while. My music has been as well. I've been slavin' away on some new music--some of which I have finished. I plan to finish at least one more song and release them all on the same day at MP3.com. Try and check in here in the coming week or two, and I'll be sure and let you know when i've uploaded all my new, happenin' tracks to my MP3.com site.
Well, If it hasn't already been painfully obvious, you can probably tell that I have recently been "trying" (key word) to apply some java script to my site--wish me luck.
I PUT UP A CHATROOM!!! I'll try and be in there as much as possible, so feel free to join the chat to check if anyone is there! The links page is growing finally *rejoice*! The archives are yet to be upgraded/fixed though *scowl*.
As for real news in my life--there has been some pretty cool stuff. I had just recently started talking to an old, old friend of mine that moved away when I was just a little tike (that's another story). Anyways he too is an electronic music artist and has so generously invited to play in a 'gig' kinda thing in the Oklahoma City area sometime in May. This idea is still in a premordial(sp?) state, but I will keep anyone who cares to read this advised on the subject.
Well, I have been gone a lot lately and my compouter has been at the shop for a while and I've been flat-out lazy, so the site is still in production. I am yet to release/promote it to the public until I feel there is enough content--I am nearing that point. Stay tuned as I plan to continue to improve upon this site in order to make it more interactive.
I ordered my turntables on Tuesday, and they should be arriving either today or tomorrow. I am giddy with anticipation. As for learning the art of turntablism, well, let's just hope it goes better than the java script on my site. I guess that's all for now. Dance.
